IATE and IntelliWebSearch

Several IntelliWebSearch users have reported that they cannot access the new version of IATE, which was released on 12 November 2018. Well, don’t panic: I have some good news for you!

Manuel Leal, a Language Technology Coordinator at the Council of the European Union, has kindly informed me that they are going to restore compatibility with IntelliWebSearch and similar tools “in the coming days“. He also added that the IATE tool manager said:

We will probably release this possibility at the end of the week […]. We will put an information alert (banner) when this is available […] so that everyone knows.

So, don’t despair. You will soon be able to consult the new version of IATE via IntelliWebSearch.
